Great tool, but next time use it to drill directly into the studs, install 3/8 or 1/2 allthread, then drill your 3/8-1/2" holes into the Back of the shelf. Slide it over the allthread and Boom, clean floating shelf, no caps. (That's how I just built mine). I also use this method with 2ft long 1/2" conduit at a 15° angle to build a lumber rack🤙

Everyone missed the word Permeable, and the author didn’t seem to care to explain what it means. It means - through, so the water will seep through it leaving the driveway intact. The idea is good, only the final result is not impressive and looks bland. Plus reading the comments I see the square costs $155 (not sure the foot or the entire sq) anyhow, this will bring the price way up. Recycling plastic is a great idea only the final result is way more expensive than just building the parts from scratch. Until this problem is solved recycling plastic will not become mainstream. As for this driveway try to install it in an expensive home. Oh wait, I just realized that expensive homes have heated driveways which does not work with permeable materials. It’s only my guess, so don’t quote me on this.

Why did you run the bricks on the steps perpendicular to the nosing? If you ran the bricks parallel it would have looked much cleaner and you wouldn’t have that skinny strip at the top. Pretty goofy move to me.
